The Auckland Provincial German Shepherd Dog League was established in the 1920's and because of the War was then known as the Auckland Alsation Club.

Club members spent many years fundraising to buy the club grounds, which comprises approximately 3 acres and the clubrooms.

The Auckland Provincial German Shepherd Dog League is the only Specialist Breed Club in Australasia to own it's own grounds.

We hold various shows here throughout the year for breed, obedience and agility.

As a specialist club, ONLY German Shepherds are allowed to be trained on the grounds.

Your German Shepherd Dog DOES NOT have to be NZKC Registered to belong to the Club or be trained here - but you and your dog will need to become a Member of the NZKC for certain Shows.
